Riina Luha is an associate in Quinn Emanuel’s London office. She joined the firm in 2019. Her practice focuses on complex commercial litigation and international arbitration. Since 2022, Riina is a Member of the Court at the Permanent Court of Arbitration in the Hague.

Riina has experience with arbitrations under various leading institutional rules including those of the LCIA, ICC, ICSID and SCC, as well as the UNCITRAL rules. She is also  experienced in multi-jurisdictional regulatory matters in Europe and beyond, as well as complex fraud, cross-jurisdictional patent litigation and insurance disputes in the Court of Appeal and the High Court. Riina has also, in the course of pro bono work, successfully appeared as an advocate for a litigant in a County Court. Riina is admitted to the roll of solicitors in England and Wales.

Prior to joining the firm, Riina completed her training contract in an international law firm in London, spending part of it in Brussels working on regulatory disputes and competition law. Previously, Riina has also worked as a competition and banking lawyer in an Estonian law firm.

In 2020, Riina was nominated by the Republic of Estonia as a candidate for the EU-UK Withdrawal Agreement arbitration panel.
