Evan Pearson is an associate in Quinn Emanuel’s Austin office. He joined the firm in 2021. His practice focuses on intellectual property, energy, and commercial litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Evan clerked for the Honorable Alan D Albright, WD Texas, who then presided over about 20% of the nation’s patent cases. While there, he assisted Judge Albright in numerous hearings and trials that dealt with technology spanning many different industries. Evan is a member of Judge Albright’s Working Group which collaborates to provide input on rules governing patent proceedings before Judge Albright.
Prior to law school, Evan was a geologist for a potash mining company where he oversaw exploration efforts in the Paradox Basin, Utah.
